On the Family Guy episode “Brokeback Swanson,” when Joe Swanson (Patrick Warburton) is trampled in a local running of the bulls and becomes a quadriplegic, the guys have a hard time feeling comfortable hanging out with Joe. Meanwhile, Brian (Seth MacFarlane) charms a pretty blonde. They end up at her place.
When her husband comes home, Brian has to pretend he’s the family’s new dog. With great humiliation, Brian sits outside in the backyard with a linked chain wrapped around his neck, fastened to a stake in the ground. Family Guy airs Sundays at 9pm on FOX.
