Academy Award-winning actor Bradley Cooper (American Sniper) has been selected for the TV special Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2015. During the one-on-one interview, Walters asks Cooper about why he’s supporting his friend Jennifer Lawrence on the issue of gender pay gap, about his new movie Burnt, and about his late father, Charles Cooper, who died in 2011 after a long illness.
Cooper says his father, a stockbroker for Merrill Lynch, loved the movies and introduced him to the dramatic classics (Deer Hunter, Elephant Man, Raging Bull) at a young age. While Cooper tends to date young models (Suki Waterhouse, 23, Irina Shayk, 29), the 40-year-old wears his father’s wedding ring every day “to remind him of the light in his life that will never dim.” Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2015 will air December 17 at 9:30pm on ABC.
