On Jane the Virgin, the protagonist Jane (Gina Rodriguez) is always struggling to balance everything in her life. And the episode “Chapter Twenty-Six” is no exception. While Rafael (Justin Baldoni) shocks Jane by asking for joint custody of their baby, Rafael’s ex-wife Petra (Yael Grobglas) shows Jane’s new man Michael (Brett Dier) a photo of Jane and Rafael smooching, Jane totally forgets to plan her best friend Lina’s surprise 25th birthday party. That won’t sit well with Lina.
Lina is portrayed by Diane Guerrero. She’s appeared on several TV shows including Blue Bloods and Person of Interest, but she’s best known for her role as Maritza Ramos on Orange Is the New Black. She just completed filming the TV movie Super Clyde, about an unassuming fast-food worker named Clyde (Charlie McDermott, Axl on The Middle) who finds his true calling. Jane the Virgin airs Mondays at 9pm on CW.
