On the NCIS: Los Angeles episode, “An Unlocked Mind,” Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) and Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) go undercover to rescue former Department of Defense employee David Ramsay (Chris Dougherty) from a cult. He’s been brainwashed into revealing classified information. Kensi and Deeks try to break him free while the rest of the team must figure out a clever way to keep the cult from selling government secrets to a Chinese spy.
One of the more memorable cult members is Gala. She’s portrayed by Lauren Bowles. Bowles is best known for her roles on The Messengers (Senator Cindy Richards), True Blood (Holly Cleary), and as the blond diner waitress on Seinfeld. Bowles has also appeared in the films Hall Pass, The Heartbreak Kid and George of the Jungle. P.S. Bowles is married to actor Patrick Fischler and she’s the younger half-sister of Julia Louis-Dreyfus (they have the same mother). NCIS: Los Angeles airs Mondays at 10pm on CBS.
