Entrepreneur Tracie Burress of Rockford, Illinois is the inventor of Sock Tabs. Her product fights the “lost sock monster” that lives in every home. One small tab is inserted through each side of a sock. Users wear the socks as usual and then right before washing them, connect the tabs together before washing and drying. When the socks are dry, they come out connected as a pair.

Burress is pitching Sock Tabs on Shark Tank and telling her story. After surviving an 11-hour brain surgery (after she suffered a brain aneurysm), Burress says “God called me back and I’m feistier than ever.” Burress is selling Sock Tabs on her website for $9.99 a pack (24 tabs) but she needs help growing the business. In a sneak peek of the episode, Burress is seen walking out of the tank without a deal, until she’s called back in by Daymond John. Think he’ll bite? Shark Tank airs Fridays at 9pm on ABC.
