On Chicago PD, a man approaches desk sergeant Officer Platt (Amy Morton) to report that his daughter is missing. When the man struggles to get Platt’s attention, he pulls out a gun and holds a member of the unit hostage “until they find her.” Meanwhile, Commander Fischer (Kevin J. O’Connor) has to break the news to Voight (Jason Beghe) that Bunny is “bringing up new accusations on a case from his past.”
Bunny is portrayed by Markie Post. She’s best known for her role as attorney Christine Sullivan in the sitcom Night Court (1984-1992). She’s also had recurring roles on Scrubs (Lily Reid) and The District (Audrey Livingston), among others. Or you might recognize her as Cameron Diaz’s mother in the film There’s Something About Mary. Fun fact about Post: She’s the daughter of noted nuclear physicist Richard Freeman Post. Chicago PD airs Wednesdays at 10pm on NBC.
