On the Criminal Minds episode “’Til Death Do Us Part” (October 14), the team investigates two murders. Two brides-to-be are murdered the night before their weddings. A jilted lover is suspected. On a lighter note, FBI Agent Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore) is invited to visit a youth football camp run by former NFL wide receiver Michael Irvin, who plays himself. Irvin asks the FBI agent to talk to the kids about nutrition and the importance of keeping in shape.
The two-time Super Bowl champ (Dallas Cowboys, XXVIII and XXX) is now an analyst for the NFL Network. He is also an advocate for the NFL’s program, Play 60. In partnership with the National Dairy Council, Play 60 is an in-school nutrition and physical activity program to encourage kids to live healthier lives. More than 1300 player visits have taken place at participating schools so far. Criminal Minds airs Wednesdays at 9pm on CBS.
