October 29 will be celebrated by many as National Oatmeal Day. To help promote the day, Quaker is giving away up to one million bowls of oatmeal. The PepsiCo subsidiary will distribute free bowls of oatmeal via three outlets. Of course, only while supplies last, and terms apply.
- Online – Follow @Quaker on Twitter or visit Quaker on Facebook to learn how to get a free cup for yourself or to gift one to someone else.
- On the Street – Instant Quaker Oatmeal cups will be handed out to morning commuters in select cities including: Boston, Chicago (Quaker headquarters), Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco and Washington D.C.
- On Your Doorstep – Residents will wake up to find Instant Quaker Oatmeal pouches at their doorstep in cities from coast to coast. You can learn more about how that works here.
