Pat McCarthy is the entrepreneur from Illinois who invented Money cologne. Using real strips of real money bought from the Treasury Department, McCarthy bottles the scent of money in His and Hers Money fragrances. He pitched his business on Shark Tank but didn’t get a deal. Potential investor Daymond John liked the name and offered McCarthy $100k for 80 percent equity, saying he would simply license the name, but McCarthy didn’t bite.

After the episode of Shark Tank aired, the price of a 1.7 fl. oz. bottle of His or Hers Money was $42.50. It’s no longer available on Amazon but bottles are still available on McCarthy’s Money website, and for 30 percent off ($29.95).
