The Miami Hurricanes will travel to Florida State to face the Seminoles on October 10 (8pm, ABC). It’s not going to be a pretty sight for Miami fans. FSU fans have been buying sarcastic “Keep Al Golden” t-shirts to wear to the game. It’s a dig at embattled Miami coach Al Golden. FSU fans are also buying up “Sucks to Be U” shirts.
Florida State fans aren’t stopping at apparel either. A number of “Missing” flyers have been seen around campus. As in “Missing U Football Program.” It reads: “Last seen with No ACC Championship rings on,” and “May be found around big stadiums with nobody inside.” Ouch. FSU won their fifth straight over Miami last year (30-26). But that was with star running back Dalvin Cook scoring the go-ahead touchdown in the final minutes. FSU head coach Jimbo Fisher says Cook is going to be “a game-time decision” after Cook tests his hamstring for soreness. Is FSU overconfident?
