Derrick Rose, Jimmy Butler and Pau Gasol each took eleven shots, with Butler only missing two. Nikola Mirotic took ten shots. The Bulls shot 53.8% from the field and 85% from the line, going a mere 20 times to the stripe.
Chicago was 14-of-28 from 3-point territory. Six Bulls scored in double figures, including the fiery Aaron Brooks who scored 12 in 16 minutes on the floor. The Bulls moved to 2-0 under first year coach Hoiberg, who has been give a lot of talent to work with. For the second straight game, Joachim Noah did not score.
