Donna McCue is the woman behind the sweet brand Fat Ass Fudge, a line of gluten-free fudges made with organic goat’s milk and butter. She used to sell her fudge in the Hamptons on Long Island where she lives. And then she appeared on Shark Tank. She didn’t get a deal but she did come to the realization that she wanted to leave the kitchen and return to the stage. McCue was a former comedian.

One year later, McCue met Linda Johnson, founder of Chocology Unlimited, and according to 27east.com, Johnson bought Fat Ass Fudge for “for just under $1 million.” Johnson said of Fat Ass Fudge: “I have tasted a lot of fudge over the last year, and there’s just nothing like it.” Chocology is selling the fudge – including the bestselling flavors dark chocolate, white chocolate and peanut butter – for $30 a pound on its website.
