Chase Kerby is one the singers competing on Season 9 of The Voice. He sang Coldplay’s “The Scientist” at his blind audition. Gwen Stefani was the only judge to turn around, but he received compliments from the others including Adam Levine, who told Kerby, “You did a great job, man. Congratulations.”
When Gwen Stefani welcomed Kerby to her team, she presented him with a t-shirt. And Kerby presented her with a box of chocolates. When not on stage, Kerby works in his family’s independent candy store, 42nd Street Candy Co. located at 4200 N. Western in Oklahoma City. Voice fans can’t buy Kerby candy online but the reviews on Yelp make the store sound like a must-see when traveling in OKC. Julie S. wrote of 42nd Street Candy Co: “This is one of my favorite havens in all of OKC…this little spot has more charm in one tiny corner than some places have in 10,000 square feet.” The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
