Skin cancer survivor Betsy Johnson developed a sun-protective swimwear line for children, SwimZip. The swimsuits are not only stylish but safe, too. The rash guard tops and swimming trunks block 98 percent of the sun’s UV rays. Johnson pitched her business on Shark Tank where she eventually made a deal with Lori Greiner ($60k for 20 percent).
Since Shark Tank, SwimZip has been expanding the line to include collections for men and women. The colorful SwimZip dresses for women are so stylish you won’t want to take it off after the beach. Plus, you won’t have to. The sun blocking material is also quick drying. They’re sold exclusively at the SwimZip website for $75.
