Jenelle Evans and her mom Barbara Evans seem to be in good standing — for the time being. But when Barbara suggests to Jenelle to drop the whole custody court thing – Barbara has custody of Jenelle’s 6-year-old son Jace – Jenelle doesn’t agree. The teen mom turned medical student tells her mother: “Right now I don’t know what I would want or what I would agree to.” Jenelle insists that she has a plan but just has to “wait to see if I get certified, when I get certified, if I get a job, when I get a job.”
When Barbara brings up Jenelle’s ex Nathan Griffith for instigating the court proceedings, Jenelle shoots mom down. “No, I did this even when Nathan wasn’t involved.” If you don’t think Jenelle still cares about Nathan, watch her tear up when Nathan talks about his girlfriend who’s “an awesome girl.” Teen Mom 2 airs Thursdays at 10pm on MTV.
