Virginia’s mother is portrayed by the lovely Frances Fisher. The British-American actress got her big break in America on the soap opera The Edge of Night (Deborah ‘Red’ Saxon). She went on to star in big blockbuster films including Unforgiven, Titanic (the mother of Kate Winslet), and House of Sand and Fog, among others. In the 1990s, she was in a six-year relationship with Clint Eastwood. They have a 22-year-old daughter together, Francesca Eastwood. Masters of Sex airs Sundays at 10pm on Showtime.
