In the Lifetime TV movie Sugarbabies, college student Katie Woods (Alyson Stoner) finds herself in a difficult position. She’s been presented with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to study art in Florence (her dream) but she can’t afford it. When her classmate Tessa (Tiera Skovbye) hears about her predicament, she persuades Katie to consider becoming a “companion” for an older man. And Tessa knows just the guy – James, the business partner of her Sugardaddy, Leo (Steve Bacic). James is handsome and charming and rich but will Katie go against her better instincts?

James is portrayed by Canadian-born actor Giles Panton. He’s best known for his roles in the film If I Stay (Teddy’s surgeon), and on the TV shows Cedar Cove (John Bowman) and Flash Gordon (Joe Wylee). Sugarbabies will premiere on Lifetime on August 15 at 8pm. It will air again on August 16 at 12am, 7pm and 11pm.
