In the Lifetime TV movie Fatal Memories, April Parker is the prime suspect in the murder of her mother. April has no alibi and claims that she can’t remember anything leading up to the stabbing. Detective Whitaker is on the case and thinks April is guilty. April’s big sister Sutton, who happens to be a lawyer, sets out to prove her sister’s innocence and butts heads with the detective along the way.

Detective Whitaker is portrayed by Shauna Johannesen. Americans will recognize her as Mary Lambert in Cedar Cove, Tabby in Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever, and Lillian McAnn in Supernatural. Fatal Memories will premiere on Lifetime on August 8 at 8pm. It will air again on August 9 at 12am, 7pm and 11pm.
