The staff of Jeff Lewis Design (aka the cast of Flipping Out) goes on a retreat, and doesn’t go well. Jeff scares Andrew nearly to death and has a meltdown. Then Andrew shares a photo of two men having sex with a snowman that Jeff finds inappropriate. The retreat is meant to help everyone air their grievances but Gage plays hard ball instead. And his target is Andrew.

During the closing circle, while Andrew calmly points out a double standard, Gage interrupts him and says, “I don’t like that shirt, Andrew.” Maybe Gage is trying to break the ice but that sinister smile of his doesn’t make anyone laugh. Andrew tells Gage “I think that’s you redirecting insecurities about yourself to someone else, and you do that a lot.” Gage replies, still smiling, “I’m not insecure at all.” Andrew’s overall grievance is that he doesn’t feel respected by Gage, and Gage proves that at the retreat. Note: While Gage attacks Andrew in his passive/aggressive way, the notoriously mean-spirited Jeff doesn’t say a word. Flipping Out airs Wednesdays at 9pm on Bravo.
