“If there’s a real honesty to fan culture relationships, we owe the world the finale of Hellboy,” actor Ron Perlman said at Comic-Con this week. Perlman’s in San Diego for Hand of God, but really — once you start talking about God’s hand, how far does the conversation have to veer to get back to Hellboy? Not very.

Perlman has been vehement in his desire to finish the Hellboy trilogy. It’s as if he’s made some sort of deal with the devil and he needs to give the devil his due. Fans agree, to judge by the reaction to Perlman’s recent Twitter campaign to trot out Hellboy one more time.
