Lots of wives look forward to the day their husbands retire (and vice-versa), only to find the retired grump isn’t so much fun to have around all the time. Is more Dave better for Regina Lasko? By all accounts he can hardly stand to be around himself! On David Letterman’s last night as host of Late Show with David Letterman, he thanked his wife and his 11-year-old son Harry. “Seriously, just thank you for being my family,” said Letterman. “I love you both and really nothing else matters does it?”
Letterman and Lasko started dating in 1986, according to Heavy.com, while Letterman was still living with ex-girlfriend, standup comedian Merrill Markow. In 2003, Lasko gave birth to Harry who is named after Letterman’s father. Lasko and Letterman married in 2009. He recently told Rolling Stone that he’s glad he and his family took up skiing, saying it’s something Regina will be able to do with her second husband!
