Tawny Willoughby posted a grisly selfie during her recent skin cancer treatment, hoping the pic would serve as a warning to others about the dangers of tanning — both in a tanning booth and under the sun. Soon media like CNN and Cosmopolitan were reporting on Willoughby and the photo had been shared on Facebook thousands of times.
Most people heaped praise on the 27-year-old mother and nurse for using her own tribulations as a lesson for others. But the photos didn’t please everyone. Someone reported Willoughby to Facebook for posting an image containing “graphic violence.” Which is true, if you consider the tanning booth and the sun the perpetrators. Still that’s not what the “graphic violence” complaint is really for. Some people do not want to see things like this though — that’s for sure. the courageous Willoughby wrote: “Well, it only took 10,716 shares for my photo to be reported. If I knew who reported it I would give them a major side eye, and the finger lol.”
