A couple of guys in Chicago have invented a new sports game called Spikeball. They describe as “kinda sorta like volleyball and foursquare but on steroids.” You need four players, a Spikeball Ball (like a hacky sack) and a Spikeball Net which is a mini trampoline. Like volleyball, each team gets three touches before hitting the ball on the bouncy net. Unlike volleyball, you can use any part of your body to get it to the net.
Spikeball is currently looking for outgoing, energetic college students to become Spikeball Ambassadors. They’re also hosting Spikeball Tournaments to lure more players into the game. The Spikeball Kit – which includes the net, 3 balls and backpack holder — is sold for $59 at the Spikeball site and at Amazon (see link above).
