The highly anticipated boxing match between Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and Manny Pacquiao will draw an interesting crowd at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand on May 2. It will be a crowd with deep pockets. CNN reports that tickets start at $1500. Ringside tickets are reportedly going for six figures.
A-listers will include actors Will Smith and Jack Nicholson, movie director Jerry Bruckheimer, musicians Snoop Dogg, Nicki Minaj and Jamie Foxx. Foxx will perform the national anthem. Foxx is a big boxing fan. He played Muhammad Ali’s right-hand guy Drew Bundini Brown in Ali, and he’s starring in a Mike Tyson biopic, too. You can hear Foxx’s latest single, “Baby’s In Love,” here.
