LeBron James confessed to playing too much one-on-one ball in Game 1 against the Hawks. But the result for his Cleveland Cavaliers was victory. Houston’s James Harden — like James playing in the opposing team’s gym — has put up stats that are eerily similar to James’s numbers so far. The only difference is the Cavs are up 2-0 headed back home. And the Rockets are down 0-2 going back to Houston. (Both Rockets games, unlike the decisive Cavs’ wins, could have gone either way.)
Game 3 in Houston is Saturday at 9pm EST. Here’s the stats for Harden and James in Games 2 of their respective series:
Harden: Game 2 –38 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists
James: Game 2 — 30 points, 9 rebounds and 11 assists
