LA Clippers guard Chris Paul was named to the All-NBA Second Team this year. It’s the first time since the 2011 season Paul hasn’t been named to the All-NBA First Team. This year the First Team guard choices were James Harden of the Houston Rockets and Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors, guards who scored in bunches and battled for the MVP. Harden’s Rockets knocked out Paul’s Clippers in Game 7 of the second round of the playoffs.
Chris Paul made his first All-NBA First Team in the 2007-2008 season. Paul has been All-NBA First Team four times in total, as many as Dirk Nowitzki, John Havlicek and David Robinson — and twice as many times as John Stockton.
