Looks like Marvel has found someone to step into the role of Peter Parker aka Spider-Man. 18-year-old English actor Asa Butterfield is in talks to replace Andrew Garfield. The next Spidey will appear in Captain America: Civil War, which is currently in production and scheduled to be released in May 2016.
Butterfield is best known for his roles as Bruno in the Holocaust film The Boy in the striped Pyjamas, Norman in Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang, and Hugo Cabret in Hugo. He will be seen next in Tim Burton’s film Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, based on the novel of the same title by Ransom Riggs. It will be released in March 2016.
