Cruella De Vil, the “most evil woman on earth” according to Disney, finally gets her due on Once Upon a Time. And the actress who portrays the adult Cruella, Victoria Smurfit, is excited about her character’s future. Smurfit recently told Access Hollywood: “You’ll see a whole new relationship between herself and The Author. They have a backstory together and through him, you’ll realize Cruella has had her own agenda the entire time, that the trio — the other two — know nothing about and she’ll finally wield her powers and go to take what she considers rightly hers.”
Fans will also get to learn Cruella’s origin story. A flashback will reveal a young Cruella confined to an attic by her mother who uses Dalmatians to frighten her. (Hence her adult obsession with dalmatian fur coats!) Young Cruella is portrayed by Milli Wilkinson. She’s best known for her roles in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2 (she was 4!), and in the other TV series Once Upon a Time in Wonderland (she played Alice’s daughter). Once Upon a Time airs Sundays at 8pm on ABC.
