NBC’s new thrilling drama American Odyssey is about an international military conspiracy and its impact on three strangers — a disillusioned corporate attorney, a disrespected political activist, and a stranded female solider, Sgt. Odelle Ballard. She is the sole survivor of an attack on her unit but everyone including her family back home thinks she’s dead.
Sgt. Ballard is portrayed by English actress Anna Friel. She’s been in tons of TV shows in the UK. She’s best known by Americans as Charlotte “Chuck” Charles on Pushing Daisies. She’s also starring in the Norwegian show, The Heavy Water War: Stopping Hitler’s Atomic Bomb. American Odyssey premieres April 5 at 10pm on NBC.
