On the TV movie Assumed Killer, journalist Daria Valdez Morrow was investigating a series of murders caused by a local serial killer when she got into a car accident. When she finally shakes off her bout of Retrograde Amnesia brought on by the accident, Daria begins to suspect that her husband, Sam Morrow, is the serial killer she’d been reporting on. Is her mind playing tricks on her? Or is Sam really a killer?
Sam is portrayed by Casper Van Dien. He’s best known for his TV roles as Johnny Cage in Mortal Kombat and as Griffin Stone in Beverly Hills, 90210. He also had a recurring role as Lt. Steven Albright on Monk. He is married to actress Catherine Oxenberg (Amanda Bedford Carrington on Dynasty). Together they’re working on the Sharknado-inspired TV movie Sharktopus vs. Mermantula. Assumed Killer premieres on April 19 at 8pm on LMN.
