The impact of Christ’s death on his disciples and the political and religious leaders of the time is dramatized in the NBC TV miniseries, A.D. The Bible. Jesus is portrayed by triple-threat Argentine actor Juan Pablo di Pace. Not only can di Pace speak three languages (Spanish, Italian, English), he can sing and dance too. Born in Buenos Aires, di Pace studied theatre at the London Studio Centre, and played Billy Flynn in the West End production of Chicago. In Madrid, he played Tony Manero in the Spanish production of Saturday Night Fever. Oh, and he released his debut solo album, Primer Acto in 2012.
Juan Pablo di Pace is best known by Americans for his role as Nicolas in Dallas, and Miguel in Camp. A.D. The Bible Continues airs Easter Sunday, April 5 at 8pm on NBC.
