On Bones, when not trying to solve the murder of a wealthy school teacher whose body was discovered in an abandoned bookstore, Brennan has been playing on the Internet. Her publisher has persuaded Brennan to join Twitter to help sell books. Brennan’s intern Jessica advises her to reveal personal things in her tweets. Surprisingly Brennan takes the advice and reveals that her character, Special Agent Andy Lister, is indeed based on Booth.
Intern Jessica is portrayed by Laura Spencer. She’s best known for her roles as Emily Sweeney on The Big Bang Theory, Parker Robinson on Switched at Birth, and Caroline on Sleepy Hollow. Bones airs Thursdays at 8pm on Fox.
