Stacey Morgan Schoeck lured her fifth husband, Richard Schoeck, to a deserted park at night on Valentine’s Day. The idea was to spice up their love life. They planned to arrive in different cars. Richard showed up first and found another car waiting for him. Turns out Stacey paid a man, a personal trainer named Reginald Coleman, $10,000 to wait at the park and kill Richard. Richard, who had adopted her three children, had a life insurance policy worth $500,000, which Stacey stood to gain following his death. Richard was shot 5 times. He was 46.
Stacey Schoeck “found” Richard in the park and called 911. She was later found guilty after admitting to hiring Coleman to murder him. She was sentenced to life imprisonment. Coleman is also serving life in prison. Dateline NBC is featuring “The Perfect Spot” murder case on April 9, 10pm.
