Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg’s wealth is so astonishing it sometimes overshadows other Facebook employees who are doing pretty well. There’s also Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, who’s had years like 2012 when she took home over $800 million. But these two astronomical compensation packages obscure those of top Facebook execs like Chris Cox, who last year brought home $12.47 million, according to Business Insider. (That’s a cool million a month, with the President of the United States’ salary on top.)
Cox is head of product development, which means he makes what Facebook users get–from how your newsfeed works to your mobile messenger app. And if there’s any executive who deserves the money, it’s Cox–because his job is essentially to create useful products that satisfy 1.25 BILLION users. Try that. That’s tough.
