It’s getting hot in here for the rapper Nelly, as he was arrested in Tennessee for drug possession. Nelly was on a private bus pulled over by state troopers. Marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found. The troopers searching the bus also found “five colored crystal-type rocks that tested positive for methamphetamine,” according to a statement issued by police.
Police also found guns. Nelly was taken to jail and released on bail. CNN reports that Nelly’s lawyer is “extremely confident that when the facts come out, Nelly will not be associated with the contraband.” In other words, Nelly probably just needs a band-aid to get him out of this mess.
