It’s been one ugly year in the life of Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Kandi Burruss. Ever since she married Todd Tucker, things haven’t been going smoothly. Kandi’s musical was forced to close, and she and Todd haven’t been able to conceive yet. And on top of everything, her mother, Mama Joyce, continues to cause all kinds of problems (emotional and financial) for her daughter Kandi.
Acknowledging the tough year, Mama Joyce sits down with Kandi and Todd and apologizes. That’s right, Mama Joyce apologizes to Todd. “Anything that I have said that has offended you and your mother, I am sorry,” she said. Here’s the zinger. Mama Joyce adds, “And anything that I said about your mother, it was something someone told me.” She just can’t help herself. “It was nothing I ever made up,” she said. Mama Joyce said she realizes it’s wrong to repeat negative things said about other people. “Because I’m a better person than that.” Kandi was delighted with Mama Joyce’s apology. She screamed, “That’s great! Let’s have a group hug.” Guess who didn’t participate in the group hug?
