UFC light-heavyweight champion Jon Jones was arrested on a felony charge for leaving the scene of an accident involving death or personal injury. He is accused of running a red light which caused a 25-year-old pregnant woman’s vehicle to hit a third car. The woman broke her arm. The felony charge carries a maximum penalty of three years in jail.
Jones was held at the Bernalillo County Metro Detention Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He posed $2500 bail on Monday night. He is scheduled to fight Anthony Johnson on May 23 at the UFC 187 pay-per-view event in Las Vegas.
