Two guys sell a men’s clothing line, Buck Mason, out of their store in Venice, California. What makes their cotton tees ($24), oxfords ($88) and indigo jeans ($135-$155) different? Everything is made in the US, and built to last. According to the website, “Our 12. oz. 100% cotton demin fabric was loomed in Greensboro, North Carolina, at Cone Mills White Oak factory where they’ve been manufacturing denim for 109 years.”

Buck Mason, a made-up name btw, is run by Sasha Koehn and business partner Erik Schnakenberg . These guys know how to promote their business. They got The New York Times to write: “Buck Mason sells American-made clothes in packages of matching neutral outfits, enough to dress a software engineer for a week with no fashion faux pas.” And NPR said Buck Mason is “…for guys who want to look great, who are aware of style, and who are not going to spend their days in Bloomingdale’s trying to find the newest piece.”
