Ben & Jerry’s has teamed up with Colorado’s New Belgium Brewery to produce a special brown ale inspired by the ice cream company’s chocolately ice cream flavor, Salted Caramel Brownie.
The collaboration isn’t all about sweet and savory sales. New Belgium’s director of sustainability, Jenn Vervier, said in a statement that the two companies “are collaborating to raise awareness around issues we are passionate about.” Hint: It’s got something to do with climate change. An illustrated cow wearing a winter hat and scarf is featured on the six pack. Bottles will hit shelves in the fall.
