There’s a lot of poaching going on between music mogul Lucious Lyon and his rival Billy Beretti on the hit TV drama Empire. And the competition is only going to become more fierce. The whole dysfunctional Lyon family is going to come together to put up a fight. Or as Brits would say, “step into the breach.” Lucious’ son Jamal will be the first to step up and take on some of Lucious’ work. (Lucious has been diagnosed with ALS.)
Beretti’s ready for the battle. If he looks familiar it’s because you’ve seen him before–that’s veteran actor Judd Nelson. He’s best known for his assertive roles as John Bender in the John Hughes’ films The Breakfast Club, and as Alec Newbary in St. Elmo’s Fire. But Beretti is beyond assertive — he’s menacing.
