On The Good Wife, Diane’s conservative husband, Kurt McVeigh, testifies as an expert witness which leads to a rift between him and Diane (Christine Baranski). McVeigh is portrayed by Gary Cole. He might be best known for his role as Bill Lumbergh in Office Space but he’s had tons of recurring roles on other TV shows including Veep (Kent Davison), Suits (Cameron Dennis), Entourage (Andrew Klein), Desperate Housewives (Wayne Davis), and The West Wing (Vice President Bob Russell). He also starred in Midnight Caller as Jack ‘Nighthawk’ Killian.
While watching The Good Wife, if you close your eyes and listen to Cole, don’t be surprised if cartoon charactrs come to mind, too. Cole provides voices on animations shows like Family Guy (Principal Shepherd, Mike Brady, Security Guard), Bob’s Burgers (Sergeant Bosco) and Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero (Brock Zero). The Good Wife airs Sundays at 9pm on CBS.
