Tim Tebow got to his job as a TV talking head a little sooner than he wanted to. With his Heisman Trophy and his uncanny ability to get wins (see Denver 2011) Tebow expected to start his career in a suit later, more like NFL Hall of Famer Michael Strahan, who hosts the LIVE with Kelly & Michael show. But Tebow isn’t going to the Hall of Fame. The 27-year-old has been out of the NFL since 2013, his non-traditional quarterback skill set unable to find a home.
Yet the Tebow faithful were stirred this week at the news that Tim got a workout with Chip Kelly’s Philadelphia Eagles. Tebow has hardly given up–he’s been working out with the same training operation 3DQB that Drew Brees and Tom Brady once utilized. If it’s not the Eagles, it’ll be somebody. Winning quarterbacks are in short supply. “I will remain in relentless pursuit of continuing my lifelong dream of being an NFL quarterback,” Tebow tweeted when he was released from the Pats in 2013. Quarterback guru Tom House told Bleacher Report:”Tim’s probably working as hard now without a job as he did when he had a job.”
