It’s not just Amazon that wants to topple books. Book lovers, too, want to think big, set records, and put their favorite thing–books–into action. The Seattle Public Library and friends did just that in June of 2013, breaking the world record for longest book domino chain. (The only chain Amazon wants to break is the supply chain! And maybe Barnes & Noble.)
2,131 books later this world’s longest book domino chain stops tumbling. It’s a beautiful thing to behold. After all, everybody knows one book leads to the next. Here is an amazing, kinetic example of that truism. Watch the record tumble!
