Bloomsburg University first baseman Joey Casselberry was removed from his team after calling Mo’ne Davis a slut on Twitter. He wrote: “Disney is making a movie about Mo’ne Davis? WHAT A JOKE. That slut got rocked by Nevada.”
After the post was deleted, and before his Twitter account was deactivated, Casselberry, a junior at Bloomsburg, apologized. He wrote on Twitter: “An example that one stupid tweet can ruin someone’s life and I couldn’t be more sorry about my actions last night. I please ask you to.”
