Brooke Martin, a 14-year-old entrepreneur from Spokane, Washington has developed a product for pet owners who want to “visit” their animals while away. iC Pooch is a treat dispenser that interfaces with a tablet (not included) so pet owners can videochat with their animals and deliver treats while away from home. Martin is pitching iC Pooch on Shark Tank on March 20, 9pm, ABC. Does the idea have four legs to stand on? Does a cat like to chase yarn? Does a dog like to play fetch? You bet it does!
Shark Tank fans are already giving iC Pooch the thumb’s up. Kathleen M. Sucharski wrote: “I used to call my answering machine…remember those…so my pet could hear my voice and stop whatever they were doing!” Lori Lynne Taylor chimed in: “This would have been super cool when I was in the military. Away from the family cat Mozart and I never came back in time to see him once I left. He waited by the door for me every day.”
