Barely Famous is a new reality TV parody starring the gorgeous sisters Erin and Sara Foster. They were born and bred in Hollywood. They are the daughters of music producer David Foster who appears on his fourth wife’s (Yolanda Foster) reality TV show, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Erin and Sara are his daughters with his second wife Rebecca Dyer.
During an interview on Access Hollywood, host Billy Bush described Barely Famous as a mashup of Keeping Up With the Kardashians and Curb Your Enthusiasm. The Foster sisters like the Curb comparision as they say they improv a lot of the scenes. And they work closely with their celebrity guests to figure out what they think is funny about Hollywood and incorporate their mundane observations into the show. For example, in an episode with Friends star Courtney Cox, Erin Foster leaves a pair of socks at her house and she’s spends the entire show trying to get them back. Other celebrities to appear on Barely Famous, which premieres March 18 at 9:30pm on VH1, include Kate Hudson and Nicole Richie.
