(It’s increasingly apparent why Amazon plans to use drones in the future, cutting its delivery time to just 30 minutes anywhere.)
The incredible thing about Amazon Prime Now is that it’s virtually free to all standard Amazon Prime members. Amazon Prime membership costs $99 a year–and that membership covers the near-instant delivery through Amazon Prime Now. The app is free, of course. One-hour guaranteed delivery is $7.99. But if you can wait 65 minutes, delivery will cost you nothing and often arrive early.
