Courtland Gray is the Chief Operating Officer of Peavey Electronics, one of the largest audio equipment manufactures in the world. Gray is the stepson of company founder Hartley Peavey–and the stepson will soon move from COO to CEO. Like other bosses, Gray went on Undercover Boss (February 15) to find out if everything is running smoothly from the ground up at Peavey. He put on a disguise and worked with Thresa, a circuit board technician, and Michael, a cabinet assembly leader. At the end of the show, the CEO usually rewards its hardworking employees. But in the case of Peavey, the story doesn’t have a happily ever after ending.
