Three big, strong guys from Pawtucket, Rhode Island were looking for a healthy alternative to get more protein in their diets without having to eat another bar or drink another shake. One of them, Dennis, runs a supplement store and told his friend Pete that he wanted to experiment with a protein butter that’s on the market. “People bought it but it wasn’t very good. It sold because it was fortified.”
So they turned to Pete’s parents, who own a bakery, and got busy with some mixers. After grinding lots of nuts the threesome finally hit on the flavors they’ve been looking for. Then they got Shark Tank investors Mark Cuban and Robert Herjavec on board. Now the Pawtucket trio is selling Nuts N’ More in 25 GNC stores nationwide.
