Mexican actress Lorena Rojas was best known for her roles in popular soap operas including “Alcanzar Una Estrella” (“To Reach a Star”) and “El Cuerpo Del Deseo” (“The Body of Desire”). The 44-year-old died this week, after suffering from metastic cancer.
In addition to acting, she recorded two pop music albums — “Como Yo No Hay Ninguna” and “Deseo.” In 2014, she released her last — an album of children’s songs, “Hijos del Sol,” (“Children of the Sun”) inspired by her daughter. The song “Bailando Bajo la Lluvia” (“Dancing in the Rain”) features three-time Latin Grammy Award nominee Daniel Santacruz.
